Dallas General Contractor was founded by long-time local builder and contractor John Foster along with serial entrepreneur Donny Zanger from Philly, who got his start bootstrapping his own construction business before branching out into the tech space. John and Donny ‘s vision for DGC was simple – to become the top destination in the Dallas – Fort Worth metroplex that homeowners and businesses alike can turn to for realizing dream renovation projects. Before teaming up with John to found DGC, Donny spent more than 15 years managing and running his own general contracting business. In addition to his extensive contracting work, Donny also founded several technology companies including some that were successfully sold and others that are running independently and profitably. DGC’s contracting team has worked with some of the biggest players in Texas, including Five Below, Burlington Coat Factory, McDonald’s, Greystone, Grand Homes, and many more.
